It is  working telephone with a modular cord for easy connecting.
The #4 dial is one of the clickity-clack dials that
Western Electric was well known for.
All of the exterior metal parts on this phone are brass.
The black bakelite Receiver has turned brown
over the years, a real beauty.
There is no subset with this phone so no bell.
You'll have to answer when you hear your other phones ring.
It does have the "Improved Mouthpiece" commonly called a "Bulldog Mouthpiece".
