Vintage Western Electric Rotary Phone D-1 Oval Base E-1 Handset Works!!! 1930's

Description

Vintage Western Electric Rotary Telephone with a D-1 Oval Base and an E-1 Handset with both cords in nice condition we get a Dial tone!!!  The ear piece is marked 557.  One mark on front (see photo)
WE GET A DIAL TONE WHEN IT IS PLUGGED INTO OUR PHONE LINE.  We couldn't call out but we did get a dial tone!!
The phone rest springs up fast when you lift the receiver.
The round phone number displayer pops out but both hooks are there, I was afraid to monkey around with it as I didn't want to break the metal. (See Photo)
I am NO EXPERT!!  Found this in our garage (don't ask Ha!) we can't remember where it came from!
It's so COOL!!!!
