Vintage Huichol Bead Art Handcarved Mask. Mexican Folk Art Wall Decor. Mask is comprised of many hundreds of cheerful and colorful beads set in traditional beeswax one at a time.. Hues of red, orange, yellow, blue, green and mauve. The dazzling geometric patterns are painstakingly created by the indigenous tribe artisans in Mexico's Sierra Madre Mountains. This piece measures 6" long by 3 1/2" wide by 1" in depth. I've carefully scrutinized this piece with a magnifying glass. There seems to be no evidence of missing beads. This is a preowned item.
