Vintage Hagen Renaker? DW? Dalmatian Figurine With Red Fire Hydrant 1.5” Tall

I have recently purchased a large collection of miniature ceramic animals. Most of these were by the artist/company, Hagen Renaker.
I think this is Hagen Renaker but you being the expert, should make your own determination based on what you see. Fire hydrant still appears to have a layer of the paper base you often see in Renaker pieces. I have also seen a similar hydrant with a few brown puppies? Detail on dog is nice, eyes are amazing as well as muscle definition. If not a Renaker then maybe Japan?
