    Description

The World's Fair Edition of a Cotton Club program (New York, 1939) which has been inscribed and autographed by Louis Armstrong and also Maxine Sullivan with whom Satchmo collaborated frequently.
The inscription/signatures are clear. Inscription reads
"Best Wishes to ('name') and Marie from Louis Armstrong, Maxine Sullivan"
. There is a word or words between both signatures which I cannot decipher - it appears to have been written in Sullivan's hand (it might say, "Me Too").
The program itself is approximately 9" x 12" in size, unpaginated, stapled wrappers, 8 leaves so 16 pages. Both covers or wrappers are blank on the inside.
Fully illustrated with B & W photographs and a few line drawings. In Fair condition with creasing rubbing, and frayed edges of the cover. The pictures show every page that is in the book so please have a look and ask any questions that you have.
Autograph - As you can see in the pictures (on the front cover - woman's leg), the Louis Armstrong signature is very faded and it looks like something might have been sitting on it at some point so the ink is very light.
Please Note:  This is a NO RETURN listing so ask any questions that you have before buying.  Thank you.
