    Description

    Obviously stored away SAFELY for over 80 years, this lovely souvenir from the 1939 New York World's Fair exemplifies what WORLD fairs are all about!!  Countries from around the world congregate in varying locations every five (5) years to showcase their special achievements (2020 has been postponed to 2021 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates).  This lovely hanky MADE IN HUNGARY measures 10 1/2" square and displays 13 brightly colored traditional "folk" costumes with a red border.  "New York World's Fair 1939" is written in script throughout.  In PRISTINE condition the slightly ribbed fabric remains like-new!!  Find a wonderful little frame and one-of-a-kind art is born!!
