  • Condition: See Photos. Comes from a clean non smoking home. In good+++ condition. Tons of patina. Wall hanging wood wooden hand crank phone. Hand crank turns with no issue. Cleaned off plate to read it better. Reads: Electrical Equipment Trust of Low-Voltage Plants. Presumably what we are translating as "Leningr." is short for Leningrad. Hand crank handle is there. Five bar magneto generator mechanism is there. Bells sound great when flicked with your fingers. Wood is aged. No idea if it works or not. Declaring this device rare and hard to find. During research we could not find a Russian made wall hanging unit anywhere. Basically unobtanium. Heavy. Weighs 21 pounds. Incomplete hand set has stamp indicating it was made by Ericsson in Sweden with an 1895 patent reference. Original cloth covered cord still there. Special item for a special collector.
