  • Condition: For conditions, please review photos closely using the magnifying tool or zoom in. Furnace sold as is, as it appears to be missing smelting pot and windshield hood. Despite the missing parts, compared to others I've seen, this is in incredible shape, at least appearance-wise. I don't know if it's operable or it its even wise to operate as intended. There is a small pinhole in the bottom / base. I have a piece of painter's tape on it (not pictured), as there is still some sediment inside the container. Top of burner is slightly off center, looking down from the top. I don't know much more about these things, so again, being sold as is. Nevertheless, if you have questions or would like more photos, please ask.

    , a rare, c. 1905 White Manufacturing / Turner Brass Works No. 37 White's Silent Friend Hot Blast Tinners and Plumbers Furnace. Although it is missing some parts (see condition description), it is in immaculate shape, at least visually! Base measures approximately 8.5" diameter, with the handle up, it measures 21.5" in height, and without the handle up, about 10.5" Fire pot weighs nearly 7 lbs. without packaging. White Mfg. was based in Chicago, while Turner Brass Works was located in Sycamore, Illinois.
    Local pick-up/delivery available within a 50 mile radius of Madison, WI. Otherwise, three shipping options are available. Please choose whichever is most economical and convenient for you. Shipping cost is set by the carriers, based on the weight, size, and travel distance of the package. I make no profit on shipping.
