Tabak Sword Philippines Filipino minasbad, sundang, tenegre, kris barong Luzon

Description

We are offering a sword called a Tabak, from Luzon, Northern Philippines. I believe this is from Batangas Province.
The blade has been chromed. There is a makers mark on the blade and “Philippines”, stamped onto it. There is a little loss to the blades tip.
The hilts pommel is carved into a closed fist, wearing a ring embellished with a red object. On the top of the hand is a metal stud. There are several metal decorations on the hilt, two worth mentioning are the ducks on both sides of the handle.
There is no scabbard. Blade and hilt are tight together.
