RARE! Very Early Gray 23D Paystation, with Coin Reject Pocket Slot RARE!

Number 23-D Multi-Coin Post Payment Station
Very early model with a Coin Rejector Pocket Slot in the top box.
It has a Stromberg Carlson Transmitter and Receiver
Needs a few parts, cleaning, and restoration.
In Gray's 1912 catalog, all of the very early 1912 Gray 23-D models
had the rejector slot however there was a .50 cent
extra charge to make the reject function work.
I don’t believe that the coin reject on this one is working.
The Chimes work when coins are dropped into slots.
5 Cents=Single Bell 10 Cents=Double Bell
and 25 Cents=Deep Single Gong
All of my Gray Paystation Items came from the warehouse
of a Local Telephone Company That closed long ago.
