    Description

Rare Art Deco FOREST PARK HOTEL CYPRUS travel poster 1930s Excellent Never Hung
For your consideration is this sophisticated and well-designed original 1930's Art Deco style poster from The Forest Park Hotel in Platres, Cyprus. Printed in Greece, the poster is in excellent unhung condition and will be sent in a poster tube. Only issues to note other than some minor creasing and slight edge wear from storage are some minor production imperfections which only contribute to the vintage charm in my opinion. Nothing serious or offensive in my opinion. It is printed on fairly thin paper that's only a little bit thicker than normal and would ideally be mounted on linen before framing which would eliminate the minor creases, etc. It is about 32.5 by 24.5 inches. The poster is numbered on the reverse side in the lower corner as shown.
The Forest Park hotel was reputedly where Farouk devised the brandy sour and where Daphne DuMaurier wrote the first chapter of Rebecca. A great opportunity to own a genuine Art Deco travel poster.
It will weigh about 2 lbs rolled in a poster shipping tube. A handling fee will be added to purchase adequate insurance in case of loss or damage in transit. Thank you!
