    Description

I can't believe that I am actually selling this fountain pen.  It has been the crown jewel of my collection of over 70 pens, but I just don't use this one, so it's time to go.  This is a big, bad piston filler from Pelikan made in the 2000's with a vermeil cap and big, flexy nib.  The size is very similar to my Montblanc 149, but the Montblanc looks plain compared to the WOW factor of this pen.  Pull it out, post the cap and heads are going to turn.  It's a big, bold statement for sure!  Nobody ever comments on my pens... except this one.
Now get this... the Pelikan nibs screw in and out easily and this offering comes with TWO 18K gold PK nibs.  There's an extra fine and a fine that has been custom ground into a fine smooth italic.  Writing with the italic and this nib being as flexy as it is can be a challenge, but with some practice the results are beyond amazing!  Please take into consideration the extra nib in the price as they sell for 0 to 0 separately.  If you don't want both nibs, then try them out and resell the one you don't prefer back here on Ebay!
The pen functions perfectly.  There are just some minor micro scratches on the cap and pen body.  No significant scratches, dings, or damage.
The vermeil cap is slightly tarnished, which can clean up easily, but I left it for the buyer's discretion if they want the patina or not.
Also included is the original box, outer carton, and warranty book.  I am the original owner, purchasing this pen new sometime back around 2008 or 2009.  I also have this pen's little brother, the M650, on Ebay right now.
