One of the nicest and certainly rarest Pelikan 140 models, the burgundy red model which was only produced for a short time and was mainly intended for export. The 140 model is probably the most famous Pelikan pen, and is one of the most sought after Pelikan pens, extremely reliable and perfect for any type of use. The pen combines many features available in higher class pens, but with extreme reliability and stunning vintage look and form factor. It features the original 1950s nib with the characteristic Pelikan nib curvature which gives it a very pleasant viewing space and flexibility when writing. The nib has excellent flexibility, The nib is smooth, glides on paper, very precise. It is suspended on the original ebonite feeder, which guarantees a constant and skip-free ink flow. The piston filling is very smooth and easy to use, absorbs a significant amount of ink, with the original double seal silicone cap. These were the first Pelikan pens to use the silicone cap that later became the industry standard. Beautiful bright green window.
