L.M. Ericsson remanufactured their popular model AC110 skeletal in 1976 under commission from the Swiss PTT to celebrate the 100th
anniversary of both the first patent of the telephone in February 1876 and the founding of LM Ericsson Company in April 1876, called “Eiffel Tower” or
“Skeletal” by many collectors. Nearly one million original phones were manufactured and it has been copied and reproduced for over 100 years.
This is the sharpest replica of the 1892-1932 SKELETAL made! This model has nearly the same materials used in them as the originals. The handset is a
nearly perfect replica of the original design issued for the Swedish PTT and also used in Switzerland and other countries. The plaited (braided) handset
and line cords are identical to that issued with the original phones. Most of the component parts are cast from original Ericsson molds and stampings.

telephone history, as it was the world’s first production handset telephone and thus set a trend that the rest of the world followed. L.M. Ericsson sold his
parts to other companies so the phone is found in many varieties. Ericsson never called the phone a “Skeletal”.
Only 5000 of this remanufactured telephone were produced in 1976 for the Swiss Telecom company called PTT
