    Description

This listing is for an original Huichol yarn painting by José Benítez Sánchez (1938-2009), widely considered to be one of, if not THE master of the genre. It is signed on the back of the board, along with his trademark story (presumably written in Huichol) to go along with each piece.
It measures 25" x 25" total, and is framed under glass. It has a sticker on the back from the framer dated "1/92", meaning this piece is presumably no newer than from 1992. Please see pictures for details, as there are some slight scuffs to the wooden outer frame in a couple spots, though these can likely be fixed without too much effort.
I am absolutely enamored with the purple color palette used in this piece, and it would be a stunning addition to any collection. Reasonable offers will be considered.

Buyer pays .55 for shipping in the US via USPS Ground. International rate will be determined by weight and location upon purchase, and will likely be expensive due to the weight and size of this piece.
