One by one, micro glass beads were added to create these gorgeous 8 pointed star medallion earrings.  These earrings are 100% authentic Huichol hand crafted art.
Longer chandelier style earrings with medallion and dangles in pretty royal blue, light blue, green, white and black color glass beads.  These 8 pointed Peyote star medallion dangle earrings have special white pearl color faceted glass beads at the tips of each dangle.  The Peyote star cactus is important for the Shaman ceremonial rituals.

History

Handmade by a Mexican Huichol Indian from the Sierra Mountains in Jalisco, Mexico.  The Huichol are an indigenous Mexican Indian tribe that originally relied on symbols for their written language.  Their culture, rich in ceremony and spirituality, create beautiful beaded art necklaces, bracelets and earrings.  Each pair of their beaded earrings takes hours and hours of work.
