Huichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous Huichol Indian people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Jalisco, Mexico.
100% authentic Huichol art.  Elegant and done with a
haute couture
color style, the artist Antonio Bautista Carrillo, created a beautiful resign/fishbone sculpture for messages to the Huichol Gods.
The hammerhead shark represents strength, courage, nobility and loyalty.  It's believed they guide the Mexican fisherman to the best places to catch fish.  This hammerhead has a clear gold with metallic gold in the center of each bead background and the gold Campeche wax gives the background a bronze appearance.  The symbols are made of lavender pearl and pink pearl glass beads with navy blue beaded outlines.
On the head, a purple pearl God's Eye is in the center of the salamander, God of Rain with Deer head, the ultimate messenger, is for the protection of the children. More symbols include a stalk of corn for health and prosperity of the people, the Peyote flower for Shaman healing and the scorpion that protects the Peyote.
We love this hammerheads eyes on each side and his/her long tall tail fin.
