Huichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Jalisco, Mexico.  This 100% authentic Huichol art bag is handmade and hand woven.
Sparkly and elegant, the design consists of a lovely golden peacock and pretty red rose and red rose bud.  Set on a metallic gold background is a large red pearl and red metallic rose and rose bud.  In the middle, a glamorous peacock is made of aurora borealis greens, metallic blue, black and plum.  His tail feathers are outlined with the same aurora borealis green beads with plum and metallic gold in the middle.  His eye is a single pink pearl color bead.
Using the traditional Huichol techniques, the glass beads are individually strung into a woven design with a white fabric lining and 7"L white privacy zip top.
Great size for dollar bills, I.D., credit card, key and/or tube of lipstick.  Fabulous clutch for a party.
