Huichol Beaded Earrings Native American Deer Indigenous Mexican Folk Art 4.5"L
Huichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous Indian people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Jalisco, Mexico.
Using the traditional Huichol techniques, glass beads are individually strung into sparkly dangle style earrings.  Each earring has a graceful metallic gold deer with antlers resting in a sitting position with metallic red eyes and a cute white beaded nose.  Two turquoise color beaded God's Eyes protect the deer and are the Huichol symbol for protecting children.  The top is a woven triangular shape with 21 graduated length dangles that form the deer's body with black, turquoise, metallic gold and metallic red beads at the bottom.  So pretty, dangly and we love the flowers at the tip of each strand.
Lovely gift for a deer lover.  Wear as holiday earrings or everyday.
