Huichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous Indian people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Jalisco, Mexico.  The Mexican calla lily is seen in many pieces of art from Diego Rivera representing rebirth and growth.
Using the traditional Huichol techniques, glass beads are individually strung into elegant strands of royal blue calla lilies with blue and yellow stamens and green leaves
.  Two graduated length strands are joined at the top with a larger clear green glass bead.  The design and colors symbolize the blue of the Pacific Ocean in Jalisco and the green growth necessary for new successful Huichol crops.  Elegant, unique and so fun for a special gift.
