    Huichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Jalisco, Mexico.
    Beautiful, multi-colored, glass beaded, handmade resin/fishbone cat figurine sculpture.  Handmade by Mexican Huichol Indian
    Librado Carrillo Carrillo, Paritemay, in Mexico.  Using the traditional Huichol techniques of pressing Campeche beeswax onto this kitty cat sculpture and adding, one-by-one, glass beads this bright and colorful cat depicts the offering message to the Huichol Gods.

    Symbols are very important for communication by the Huichol.
    On a sparkly clear metallic red glass beaded background, Librado used rich colored gray, dark chocolate brown and white pearl colored beads to adorn this pretty sitting cat sculpture.  (
    Note:  The metallic beads are more valued by the Huichol and cost double compared to the regular beads.)
    His (or her) cute cat face has gray and brown colored Peyote flower eyelashes with metallic silver eyes.
    He has gray whiskers and perky ears with Peyote flowers on his head.
    Under his chin, the ultimate Messenger Deer helps him communicate with the Huichol Gods and baby deers are dancing along his right side.
    On his back, a brilliant and powerful Father Sun symbol has prayer arrows at the tips of his sun rays.  We love the sun's white pearl beaded eyes.
    This special kitty is signed by the artist and a certificate of authenticity, signed by Librado, is included.
