    Description

Huichol Beaded Bag Art Coin Purse Mexican Folk Art Toucan Chaquira Beads Pouch
Huichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Mexico.  This coin purse is made of all glass Chiquara beads and 100% authentic Huichol art.
In the Huichol culture, the toucan is a symbol for the spiritual bird.  He is the messenger to the Gods and good luck for help to penetrate the spirit world with the bright colors of self confidence.
Using the traditional Huichol techniques, glass beads are individually strung into a woven design. This coin purse has black satin lining and 3.5" privacy zip top.  Great size for an I.D., credit card, key and/or tube of lipstick.
Sparkly and fun, beaded on both sides, rich platinum gray pearl background with two sparkly toucans sitting on a metallic gold tree branch.  Woven into the background, Gods Eyes (the protector of the children) are made of clear metallic green, purple pearl and clear neon pink beads.  Handmade by a native Huichol Mexican Indian from Mexico.
    Size: 4 1/4"L x 3"H
