    This listing is for an art deco, 1930s vintage Automatic Electric bakelite rotary dial monophone desk telephone featuring a rare handset lock adapter made for use on US Navy warships (so that the headset wouldn't fall off during rough seas). This telephone is in very nice condition with usage wear and age patina but no apparent damage. The solid brass locking mechanism functions smoothly and allows the phone to be carried by the handset grip.
