This listing is for one Cellebrite UFED Touch device that was last updated in 2018 and has the most recent software possible for the device. It has not received any phone model updates since then but will still perform extractions by manually entering the legacy model.
It includes the everything shown: Case, complete cable and tip folio, case strap, power adapter, Micro SIM blanks, Regular SIM blanks, mini SIM blanks, USB hub, DVD, car power adapter—everything the Ultimate Edition had new (and at ,800).
The device has been bench tested and confirmed to operate as intended.
Modules included are: Password Extraction, Physical Extraction, Logical Extraction, SIM Extraction, SIM Clone.
Common questions about Cellebrite UFED Touch:
    Q. Why are some Cellebrite Touch devices listed for sale so much cheaper than yours/others?
    A. Cellebrite makes two (2) versions of their Touch device. One (the cheaper model) is called the CME or Cellebrite Mobile Exchanger. It only extracts undeleted pictures, ringtones, contacts and call logs. It is sold almost exclusively in bulk to cell phone stores and is used when someone wants to transfer their old phones most important data without using a cloud backup.
The Cellebrite UFED (Universal Forensic Extraction Device) Touch is worlds apart. It was made specifically for government agencies, esp. police departments, customs, and evidence processors, to obtain ALL data from a device, including deleted data. If included, it also contains a password module which can override a mobile phone’s passcode protection.
The CME Touch initially retails for 0-1000. The UFED is ,000 to ,700. Extra modules add to the price, as due extensions of the update license.
    Q. How can I tell the difference?
    A. Both devices are nearly completely identical on the outside. One difference is the screen housing for the CME says “Touch” and the UFED says “UFED Touch”.
Also, the serial number label behind the adjustable screen also says either just Touch or UFED Touch.
    Q. What are the differences between an activated license, a deactivated license, and an expired license.
    A. The software on a UFED Touch requires a valid activated license to work. Furthermore, to receive regular software updates, the license must be renewed or it will expire. If an end user has upgraded the hardware, the license is transferred to the new unit at a lower price than if the new unit was purchased without the license transfer (whether expired or not).
When a license “expires”, the only thing that actually expires is the ability to receive updates. The unit will continue working same as ever because it still has a valid activated license.
So, unless the unit has been deactivated, an expired license does not affect the capability of the unit to perform the tasks it always has with the last update.
    Q. Will a UFED Touch with an expired license still work with phones produced after the expiration?
    A. Yes. However, it will not recognize them automatically as it will with models produced prior to the device’s last update. Obviously, a device can’t recognize what didn’t exist when it was last updated.
There is a work-around, however. By manually selecting the legacy version of the device being extracted from, or a close approximation, the UFED Touch will “recognize” it and extract. Simply select the iPhone or Android device that is closest to the one in question and, because the file systems still work the same way, the UFED will extract as normal and as though it recognized it itself.
