brand new heavy machete/sword Norse Viking compass design parang knife Vegvisir!

Description

You are bidding on a brand new unused heavy bush knife/machete with a golok or parang type handle and curved machete type blade. Really badass piece with hand carved accents on the rosewood handle, kind of like monsters carved on Filipino tenegre sword hilts. The heavy carbon steel blade has the Icelandic Norse Vegvisir magical stave design laser etched into the steel (it's intended to help the bearer find their way through rough weather). It's quite heavy (3+ pounds, the blade is 3/8" thick or so) and the handle is large enough for a two-hand grip. The nice well made sheath is made from heavy water buffalo leather, welted, with a snap closure and double loops for belt carry. The knife is very sharp, but some spots are sharper than others and it could use retouching. This is a brand new, unused item without packaging. No condition issues to speak of, the hand forged carbon steel blade has the inevitable slight discolorations that could be polished off. 16" x 2+" blade, 23" overall. See photos for details.
