Authentic Vintage Greek Worry Beads Komboloi with Tsarouxi (Greek Shoe)

Description

This is an authentic vintage string of Greek worry beads or komboloi dated to the mid-1970s and purchased in Athens, Greece. They have been in my family since then. The string is about 7 inches in length, so pocket sized and made of lovely dark orange-amber plastic beds on a black string. the best part is that they tie together in a beautiful charm in the shape of a tsarouxi, or a Greek shoe worn by the Evzones, or the famous beskirted guards in front of the Greek Parliament buildings. This is an unmistakable Greek identifier and a lovely souvenir of Greece.
