    Description

    Antique Vintage Western Electric Type Oak Wood Double Box Wall Telephone- Chicago/ New York. Condition is "Used".
    Awesome Estate find- Western
    Electric oak
    double box wall phone in great condition.  Oak phone measurements 33" long x 8-1/2" wide by 10" high. Functioning lock w/key & bells sound when lever is turned. Oak wood as Western Electric stamps on side of battery box (patented dates Mar 31, 1891-Jul 17, 1894) also stamped " Made for the American Bell Telephone Co. and licensed to be used only with its telephones". No chips just some stains & tiny scratches-please see photos.  Outside cloth wiring is original and is not connected to inter phone parts.  There are cracks & chips to Bakelite outside terminal receiver and speaker cone.   Weights approx. 35 lbs.
