    double box wall phone in excellent condition, p
    atent dates Sept. 5, 1899- Fed. 5, 1901 on transmitter.  Oak wood phone measurements 32" long x 12-1/4" (oak backboard) wide by 7-3/4" high.  Oak battery box as wood putty in nail holes and small stress crack on bottom of oak backboard , see photo number 3.    Oak wood as no large chips just some tiny nicks, dents, stress cracks, putty fixes and scratches and as been lightly cleaned, oiled and waxed.   Magneto is original to phone and bells DO NOT ring when crank.  Outside cloth wiring is new and is not connected to inter phone parts.  No cracks or chips in  Bakelite handset (cloth wiring a little stain and shows wearing in good condition) or speaker cone, just light scratches from normal wear.   All phone painted parts have original japanning, transmitter hardware shows wearing.  Nickel plating as scratches and wearing (some nickel show some brass from wear) from normal wear.   Phone wood and parts as been lightly cleaned, oiled and waxed, please see photos for more details.
