  • Condition: Well preserved old Western Electric Crank type Phone with an attractive Oak Box. Twin bells, note shelf, Pat'd dates are 1903 & 1923, has Bakelite Mouthpiece and Earphone, both have fabric cords. Oak box opens and contains crank/magneto and below appears to be updated wiring for more modern use. Writing on the back of phone is interesting; Original Geo W Duff Family telephone, Girard, Kansas 2704, Given by Elva Duff 1961. Original owner estate find many years back, carefully stored in garage for decades. Looks to be in very well preserved, original condition (minus electrics). No cleaning, testing or hook-up of any sort was performed. Has a more modern plug and related parts but no testing was done. Sold as is, untested as you see it. Back oak wall/base measures about 19"T x 8"W, weight 16+ lbs. Check the pictures and decide for yourself if this is something you can use.
