Antique Butler Box Partrick Carter Annunciator Historic Philadelphia Eckstein.This is a very unusual  find! This is a servant box from the 1800s or very early 1900s. Im selling  it for parts not working  as it is being for decorations since im sure it doesn't  work.There is some damage  to the box top.The small piece  came with it but im not sure if it was a direct  part of the box .It looks like the box should open as it has a knob and hinges but doesn't  seem to open. Im afraid  to force it sinc im not familiar  with these contraptions. What makes this box very unique  is it belonged to herman Eckstein  a very famous Philadelphia  figure who lived during the 1800s. He was into gold and diamond mining and had great influence  on banking.You can look him up on Wikipedia  and learn about him.This is a one of a kind find.Its an interesting  item even without knowing  who the prior owner was.thanks for looking ...will require  signature  confirmation  shipped insured
