    Examine photos they show the rust that is normal for an item like this. Approximate date produced - 1930's
    Approx. 17" tall (not including the notched rod) - 7" x 4 1/4" at base. Nice heavy weight, A lot of rust but otherwise in great condition.
    Heavy Weight  - Before packing is 6 LB. 10 OZ.
    My Mother used one similar to this one for capping Root Beer Bottles, than the bottles were laid out in the sun. This would cause the yeast in the root beer to create the sting as in carbonated soda pop we drink today. What memories!!
