This sale is for 4500 plus vintage collector’s pins. Really vintage. 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and some current. There is truly a little of everything here. This isn’t just a collection. It can be, if you want but the real money is the business. Whenever I need cash, I go to the swap meet and make 0-0 per day. My space is always packed because it is really impressive. Here is the key to the business for me. I go to a lot of garage sales and there are collector’s pins at everyone. You can pay up to a dollar and still double or triple your money. I usually pay a quarter per pin. Make sure to haggle. Buy every one you find. eBay is a good source too. This is how you replenish the collection. The second key is in the organization. This didn’t happen by itself. It is all ready to display and each pin is stuck to rubber thick pads. There are about 40 of them and it all fits in a medium/large tub and goes right in the trunk. It is completely portable. Travel the states and sell pins to pay for it. I bought this collection/business off a guy and he bought it off a guy and so on. I’ve been doing it for years and it works like a charm. It’s time to pass the torch. I have probably more pins now than when I started. It’s hard to tell because the collection is constantly changing. I took these pictures 2 months ago and I have probably sold and replaced 200 pins in that time. Summer is a busy time of year for the collecting part. The collection will be slightly different than the pictures and with more pins. I sell them each or 4 for and my booth is packed.
