For your consideration I have this rare very first version of the Old Style
Pelikan M400 Green Striated Fountain Pen with gold plated trims.
Fitted with a somewhat flexible 14C-585 nib in an Oblique Double Broad (OBB) point.
The 'old style' M400 with one cap ring was made from
1982 - 1997.
This is the very first version with a
friction fit nib unit
, that was made in 1982 only.
In 1983 the screw in nib unit was introduced.
The cap ring is marked 'PELIKAN' and 'GERMANY'.
The pen is in near mint condition and under strong magnification shows just a few marginal signs of use.
Comes in an unbranded protective pen case and will be shipped by registered mail.
